In efforts to introduce the Klaytn Hackathon to our community, we had Klaytn Hackathon Meetup in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam on April 25th. We had over 80 developers and service providers gathered together at Dreamplex 195.
We had a great panel discussion with Jerome Lee, the Director of Ground X, Bobby Liu, the Founder of Topica Foundation Accelerator, Nicole Nguyen, the Head of APAC Asia Blockchain Review, and Charles Lee, the Co-Founder of Coder School on how major cities around Asia are transforming as blockchain hubs. Especially, as Vietnam emerges as the next blockchain hub for blockchain market in Southeast Asia, and as Klaytn targets Asia to be the primary target region for driving mainstream adoption of blockchain, we wanted to invite many local developers to join Klaytn Hackathon to create BApps by utilizing the recently launched Klaytn public testnet, Baobab.
Anybody with great ideas for BApps can participate by registering on the official Klaytn Hackathon homepage by May 31st.
Again, the submission deadline is just around the corner, so make sure to submit your final project paper and demo video via the official hackathon website. Claim your prize and KLAY!
